A Haven for Us is a community-rooted nonprofit dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals — especially those impacted by harmful policies, systemic inequities, and identity-based discrimination. We exist to create a world where care is collective, leadership is shared, and every LGBTQIA+ person has access to the tools and community they need to thrive.

Our work is grounded in a peer-led model that centers lived experience. Rather than traditional top-down services, we engage the community as leaders by offering support groups facilitated by LGBTQIA+ volunteers, microgrants for those facing urgent needs, and a growing network of mutual aid and advocacy. We believe that those most affected by injustice are also the most equipped to shape solutions.

Whether it’s through a safe space to speak freely, a small grant to get through the month, or a simple reminder that you’re not alone, A Haven for Us is here to offer connection, dignity, and support without condition.
